A reconsideration letter asks the DWP to look at your claim again. This one uses the words already in your log, with the date you wrote each one.

Be ready for this stage. Not many decisions change at reconsideration. But it is a step you need. More than half of the people who go on to appeal win. Your letter starts the record that wins later.
